About the Penny Lane U Team
Penny Lane Crull has been a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor since 2005. Her passion is helping Contractors better understand their numbers so they can make brilliant decisions and build the business of their dreams. She also loves mentoring and supporting other accountants and bookkeepers in the same endeavor.
In addition to having a great name, Penny Lane has over a 20 years of hands on bookkeeping and CFO experience. According to multiple personality assessments, and feedback from her clients, her special gifts are teaching and innovative problem solving.
Penny Lane was born and raised in the Napa Valley but is ironically allergic to wine. Penny Lane now lives in the beautiful “City of Trees” – Sacramento in Northern California with her loving husband Ian, daughter Emma, grandson Owen and pups Butters and Fiona. Her grown daughters Hanna and Abbey live nearby as well.
Penny Lane has a passion for fitness – particularly Pelaton, Jazzercise and Hot Yoga . She devours books of all kinds and loves to hike, spa, swim, and will admit occasional naughty pursuits like gambling and brewery visits.
Michelle comes to Penny Lane U with over 20 years of accounting and operations experience in Controller/CFO roles both in house and in consulting roles with the majority of her career spent in the Construction and Hospitality industries. She has a passion for teaching and helping non-accountants understand financial information to make sound business decisions.
Michelle was born in Michigan, raised in Dallas, Texas and currently makes Michigan her home with her husband, two grown children and two Italian Water Dogs. In her free time, she is an avid Peloton groupie, a huge lover of Pilates & Yoga and adores baking and traveling.
